The Klima Charta Zug+ supports you at a technical and strategic level in your commitment to reducing carbon emissions. Together, we will identify targeted measures and provide advice in the areas of climate, environment and communication with the aim of reducing your carbon emissions. The Klima Charta Zug+ initiative is aimed at all companies in Zug:
The Klima Charta Zug+ supports smaller companies and business enterprises by technically analysing their potential and making tailored proposals for reducing their carbon emissions. We also show them how to effectively communicate their climate protection efforts to employees and customers.
Medium-sized companies can use the support of the Klima Charta Zug+ to effectively anchor sustainability and environmental issues as part of their corporate strategy and to make their commitment visible publicly – as soon as today.
For large companies, the initiative offers the opportunity to share strategies and concrete solutions, exchange personal experiences and expertise, showcase best practices and act as “green business angels”.
We enable local authorities and associations to clearly present existing funding and support programmes, measures and future plans with a strong media impact. As a result, they can increase the visibility of their commitment and set themselves apart by demonstrating their additional expertise.

What to expect when you get in touch with us:
- In a non-binding initial meeting (online, 45 min), we discuss where your company is at in terms of climate protection, what you’ve already achieved and how we can support you and work together.
- If you’re interested, we’ll meet at your premises to learn more about your company and to determine the next steps. This will take about 2 hours and is also non-binding.
- Together we define the framework of our cooperation. We support you 100% – you pay 50%. The other half is covered by the Canton of Zug, up to a maximum amount of CHF 5,000 per company.
